Freedom of Movement on the Carmelit | Haifa Municipality — Education, Culture and Sports Administration, Culture Division, Arts Department, in partnership with the Makom LaShira (A Place for Poetry) association, is proud to present Freedom of Movement – a poetry exhibition on the Carmelit. These days, the Carmelit is hosting an exhibition that turns the everyday commute into a space of words, thought, and imagination. Between stations, cars, and passageways, contemporary poetry meets Haifa's urban landscape and invites you to pause for a moment within the motion. The exhibition, Freedom of Movement, will open in early June as part of Reading Month — Haifa Under the Sign of Reading, and will display poems by poets along the Carmelit's stations and on its cars — as a poetic journey inside the mountain. A festive opening of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, June 2, at 18:00, as part of the book fair event at Gan HaEm.
