A play by Joshua Harmon Translation: Noga Ashkenazi Directed by: Miri Lazar Moments before her death, Josh's grandmother imposes an unusual final wish on him: to write a play about their family. She demands that the play be honest, revealing, and merciless — and Josh takes up the challenge. Together with his mother and grandmother, Josh revisits thirty years of family dramas, petty quarrels, accusations, and betrayals, and the result is a funny and sharp family portrait about love that continues to exist even as everything around it falls apart. A personal, smart, and gripping play that invites the audience to laugh at what hurts — and to remember why, despite everything, family is the most precious thing there is.
