A unique collaboration between the musical ensemble led by Itamar Doari and the Vertigo Dance Company has created a one-time performance that moves between set patterns and structured dance and free, improvised creation. In a reality where the familiar order keeps unraveling, the piece too seeks to disrupt order, leaving open and unknown spaces that take shape before the audience's eyes. This is an invitation to peek into the space from which the inspiration flows – from the music to the movement of the body and back again. By watching the performance, the audience becomes a partner in the creative process of the work. The performance was created out of a desire to follow the movement of the heart as it contracts and expands, the movement of the eyes as they close and open wide again. The dancers' moments of improvisation demand deep listening to the music and to what is happening around them, so they can lean on what is happening here and now. Even when everything outside is noisy, the dancers' movement searches for an anchor to hold on to between rising and falling, to find the gaps between sound and sound, movement and movement, in which they can rest. Proceeds from the performance "Koma" will go to support the Resilience Project at Vertigo – rehabilitation for soldiers and their families Choreography | Noa Wertheim, Rina Wertheim-Koren Dancers | Itay Peri, Micha Eimos, Eden Ben Shimol, Ilan Golubovich, Corina Freiman, Noa Israeli, Tomaso Zukania, Alma Karbet Shemesh, Eshed Weissman Original music and musical direction | Itamar Doari Musicians | Itamar Doari, Ma'ayan Lennik, Ofir Viflich, Daniel Ivrin Sound designer | Gabriel Mendel Lighting | Danny Fishof, Magenta Set design | Zohar Shoaf Costumes | Sasson Kedem Company manager | Sandra Brown Production management | Sivan Polak
