Local elections are on the horizon, and the tough, veteran mayor, Moshe Schwarzman, is worried that no candidate dares to run against him. No rival - no campaign, and no campaign - donors' wallets stay closed. Besides, people might also say he's a dictator, and he - democracy is his guiding light. So what do you do? In order to create the appearance of a fair election, you have to find a fake candidate, one "that only their own family would vote for, and even they would hesitate first". When the cleaning lady walks into the office and starts cleaning, it's clear to everyone that the perfect candidate has been found. The cleaning lady's name is Ilana. And she's here to stay! A sharp and moving comedy about a determined woman who can't stand dirt. Running time: about 90 minutes without intermission.
