In the magical, endless desert of Bolivia's Altiplano plateau, a spellbinding cinematic journey unfolds, blurring the line between reality and legend. Eight-year-old Santa is determined to fulfill a final pact she made with her mother: after her death, she will free her from a cursed life of suffering, follow the stars, and lead her to the paradise waiting for them beyond the horizon, on the other side of the desert. "Sky," filmed in Bolivia, sweeps us into an extraordinary road movie, washing the screen in breathtaking landscapes and dazzling color, blending magical realism with a heartfelt story, and introducing us to a remote corner rich in culture. The characters Santa meets along the way, and the charm of young actress Fernanda Gutiérrez Aranda, add further warmth to the film. 108 minutes, Spanish, Hebrew and English subtitles.
