One was the beauty of the class, the other quiet and shy. Now in their twenties, Yona is still quiet, a medical student, and on a whim Nora moves in with her. The two are soon swept into a whirlwind of parties and desire, moments of intimacy and a string of casual men. But beneath the haze of alcohol and cigarette smoke, and the seductive feeling of freedom, friendship and joy of life, disturbing echoes of past trauma begin to surface. Variety has already called Hila Nordan's much-talked-about debut film "a candy-colored, flamboyant and deeply personal film." Nordan takes us on a sensory journey with gorgeous costumes, bright design and a raw sense of eroticism, exploring sexual violence and the fragile power of femininity. Please note โ this film contains scenes depicting sexual violence. 122 minutes, German, Hebrew and English subtitles.
