How the Wheel Turns Shmulik Kraus, a legendary artist and one of the pioneers of Israeli rock and song, whose songs have been part of the country's soundtrack from the 1960s to this day. The show "How the Wheel Turns" showcases Kraus's musical beauty and his tremendous charisma, featuring songs from the "High Windows" period through to his final album from 2003: "You Can't," "All Week Is Yours," "A Sad Song," "Days of Cinema," "What About Me," "Chalkboard and Chalk," "See Far, See Clear," "How the Wheel Turns," "Guitar," "After 20 Years," "If," "Sunstroke," "Reconciled," "Again," "Wooden Horse," "It Happens," "When You Cry You're Not Beautiful," and many more. The show is led musically by Ilan Virtzberg, who produced and played with Shmulik Kraus for over 20 years; during the show, Ilan shares stories about his work with Kraus. Over the years, Ilan composed and produced dozens of hit songs and albums for the country's leading artists: Nurit Galron, Gali Atari, Chava Alberstein, Arik Sinai and others. Ilan released 14 solo albums, including the immortal "Batzir Tov," considered one of the best and most influential rock albums in Israeli music. The gripping show emphasizes the authenticity of the songs, presenting them in their original form alongside some new arrangements. The band features singers and musicians who work with the country's leading artists, brought together by a deep love for and connection to Shmulik Kraus's music: Ilan Virtzberg – musical direction, guitars and vocals | Erez Zinger – vocals and guitars | Elia Samama – vocals, guitars and percussion | Assaf Frishman – keyboards and vocals | Gil Immer – bass and vocals | Avi Barak – drums.
