An exhibition featuring paintings and sculptures of klezmer musicians from the Mané-Katz Museum collection. In the works of Mané-Katz, an artist of the Paris school who lived in Haifa, motifs of music and musical instruments are repeatedly shown: klezmer musicians, musicians at weddings and celebrations, portraits of modern musicians, as well as biblical scenes where characters hold musical instruments. The collection contains approximately 1,300 pieces, based on the artist's estate donated to the city of Haifa. It includes about 180 oil paintings. The works have not been exhibited for many years and underwent a comprehensive restoration process.
