An exhibition that is a chapter in the journey of Lian Sarkeya (born 2000, Jat al-Musallab) into the past of her grandmother Samia, who was born in Haifa in 1946 and, following her marriage at nineteen, left for the village of Jat. The displayed works offer a glimpse into her memories and stories, as reflected and reconstructed through her granddaughter's eyes. In her works, she uses various photographic techniques: frottage (rubbing to copy), direct photography and scanning, up to manipulating the image through retouching, cropping, and reassembly.
