The Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra's "Christmas Concert" brings together works by Corelli, Graun and Bach. The concert will be conducted by David Shemer, and alongside the orchestra will appear French tenor Olivier Coiffé and recorder player Alma Debreceni from England. At the heart of the program is Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata BWV 55, for tenor and orchestra. Alongside it, the cantata "Eyes, Shining Stars" by Carl Heinrich Graun, also written for tenor and orchestra, will be performed. The instrumental part of the program will be completed by Bach's Recorder Concerto and Corelli's Concerto Grosso in G minor, known as the "Christmas Concerto". Alma Debreceni's appearance continues the orchestra's collaboration with the Tel Aviv International Recorder Competition: Debreceni is the winner of the 2025 competition.
